Isabella Keyes: Pachamama

Dead Rising is my most recent "favorite game". The story is well told, tho there are some issues that bother me, the direction on the cut scenes is top notch, the characters are sympathetic and likable, and Frank West -looks- like a photojournalist and not a movie star. Added to that the gameplay is stellar and varied, and damn near everything in the mall qualifies as a weapon of some sort. I've managed to nab 40 out of 50 achievements on XBL, which I say not to boast, but to illustrate my enthusiasm for the game.

The game has several female characters, (two tied to the main story, and -several- survivors you can find scattered about the mall) and Isabella is, ultimately, my fave of those. She's beautiful, brilliant, and gutsy, which is like a holy trinity for me. There is a scene, later in the game, when she's working at a laptop, which is sitting on the floor, and she strikes a pose not unlike this. Damned if I was shocked that this pose didn't grant frank's photos an erotica bonus, since far less provocative views in the game did. But it made me feel funny down there, so I thought I'd recreate the moment.

I'm not entirely sure I really got her appearence down here, but it's hard to translate realistic characters into anime style and keep their "look" very closely.



As an aside, if you haven't played DR yet, pick it up. If you don't have a 360, why the hell not? ("Expense" is the only answer I'll accept, for the record. )
